Adult Sunday School and Study Group

Christian Education ministries at Colesville United Methodist Church are real, relevant and relational. We focus on spiritual formation and growth for new and mature believers of all ages. Our goal is to change lives with the clear and unapologetic teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ incorporating the Wesleyan model of tradition, reason and experience. We strive to move beyond routine programs that simply impart information, to reach real people who are going through real life challenges with the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. We invite all persons to know and experience God through Jesus Christ, to claim and live God’s promises and, to grow and serve as Christian disciples.

The FaithWalkers Sunday School class provides thought-provoking, stimulating, scripturally-based discussions that link current events to Scripture, and remind us how to apply God’s word to everyday life.  Each week’s discussion will focus on an event that occurred in the news. Study materials, including biblical commentary and discussion questions, will be sent to participants via email on Thursday evening or Friday.
