New and Unique Jewelry Created from Old, Broken and Discarded Jewelry Helps Fund New and Old Ministry Projects

The Born Again Jewelry (BAJ) group collects jewelry that for whatever reason, people don't want anymore. These pieces are disassembled and remade. Then they are sold, and all of the proceeds go to missions - local, national and international. Since August of 2011 the BAJ design team has met at the church to recreate jewelry. Proceeds from sales have gone, for example, to Montgomery County Emergency Assistance Network and the church's mission in Guatemala. It has also been donated to Doctors Without Borders, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, and UMCOR, a United Methodist program that uses 100% of its collected funds to aid in humanitarian and natural disaster relief.

We are always looking for additional jewelry, and we invite you to drop off or send your pieces to the church. Please contact us at 301-384-1941 if you have questions.
